All in the Same Boat aims to inspire a more integrative vision on water security - through excursion

To explore different perspectives in water security, the All in the Same Boat team, funded by the Centre for Unusual Collaborations, would like to share with you their recent experiences on a field trip they organized. Before embarking on their trip, they asked their different hosts to reflect on the following question: ‘How can we ensure sufficient and clean water for both nature and society in our changing world?’ Watch this short video recap of their excursion to learn more about how different parties approach this question. And get in touch with All in the Same Boat team, via CUCo, if you are interested in setting sail with them and charting a more water secure future.

“Society and nature require that water sources are available, accessible, utilizable, and stable. That is, water sources must be secure. Yet, ~80% of the global population faces water security risks, and natural environments continue to deteriorate. So, when it comes to water, society and nature are in the same boat. However, when it comes to water security initiatives, this connection is often overlooked. Our project aims to change that.”
